The Big Draw: Exquisite Corpse

Tue Oct 13, 2020, 7:00PM - 8:00PM

Online via Zoom

The Exquisite Corpse is a collaborative drawing game developed by Surrealist artists in 1925. They used the game to free their minds of distractions and push their creativity to its fullest potential. It was also a lot of fun and yielded some pretty hilarious drawings.

Traditionally, players work together to draw a figure on the same sheet of paper. Each player adds one body part (i.e., a head, torso, legs) and then folds the paper so that the next players do not see what has been drawn. The result is a fantastical figure with a head, body, and legs made by different people.

We’ll be using Zoom to take the Exquisite Corpse game into the digital realm. Participants will make and share drawings during the program and participate in conversations. Video is required. Please have something to draw with, and to draw on.

Join us for an evening of fun that will open your mind, pump up your creativity, and make you smile!
