A visit to the Snite Museum of Art is an invitation to experience original works of art, make new discoveries, and engage with ideas. In supporting faculty and students, the Snite Museum supports and promotes a culture of interdisciplinary dialogue, inquiry, and creativity across the Notre Dame community.
Starting Monday, August 10, the Snite Museum of Art will open to University of Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff.
We are eager to work with you to maintain the Snite Museum's role as an invaluable resource for teaching and learning while also accommodating constraints posed to teaching and learning by the coronavirus.
Keeping the health and safety of our campus community at the forefront of our efforts, we ask that all students and faculty visiting the Museum wear a mask, use available hand sanitizing stations, and maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet from others. Museum staff will also be practicing these safety measures, and the Museum has also reduced gallery capacities, increased cleaning protocols, and enhanced signage around the Museum to help you navigate the space and facilities.
