Latent Emissions, Chakaia Booker
Those interested in donating works of art should first contact the Museum Director, Joseph A. Becherer, Ph.D., email@example.com or (574) 631-4711 to discuss with him the objects in your collection under consideration for donation to the Snite Museum.
ART EXHIBITIONS OFFERED FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE SNITE MUSEUM
Please send the exhibition prospectus to the Museum Director, Joseph A. Becherer, Ph.D., at firstname.lastname@example.org. It should include 3-6 images of representative works in the exhibition, a brief exhibition description or artist statement, any related fees, an exhibition checklist with images and sizes, and if a one person or group exhibition be sure to include the artist(s) CV.
ART LOAN REQUESTS--SUSPENDED
We are not considering any new requests for loans of works in our art collection while we are busy planning the new Raclin-Murphy Museum of Art at Notre Dame.
All outgoing and incoming art shipments should be scheduled in advance with Victoria Perdomo email@example.com, (574) 631-4727. The September 2017 addition of a security gate on the eastern access road to the Museum has added new complexities to delivery logistics. Use of a box truck or "sprinter" vehicle is preferred over semis due to a new, much narrower, access road. Please contact Victoria Perdomo (574) 631-4727 in advance of a delivery to acquire code to the new security gate and revised campus map showing how to get to the museum's loading door. Shipments are accepted between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. EST/EDT
CAMPUS OFFICE ART LOAN PROGRAM FOR THE UND MAIN BUILDING--SUSPENDED
New officers/directors are welcome to select a work of art created before 1923 on view in our galleries or in our Selected Works publication. Send your selection to Associate Director Ann Knoll and we will print a high resolution facsimile that you can have matted and framed. Contact Ann Knoll (firstname.lastname@example.org; 631-4842) to schedule the removal of any works currently installed in the building.
As a unit of the University of Notre Dame, when there are museum staff openings they are posted on the Jobs.nd.edu website and applicants must apply through the site. DO NOT SEND emails or letters of inquiry directly to museum members.
Inquiries about using the Museum's courtyard, Annenberg Auditorium, or entrance atrium from University of Notre Dame units should be directed to Administrative Assistant, Laura Rieff (email@example.com; 574-631-4706).
The Museum and its spaces ARE NOT AVAILABLE for weddings, private parties, fundraising events by other nonprofits, or sit-down meals.
All requests must be made at least four (4) weeks in advance of the date of the planned event. Events must end at 8:30 p.m. Please read the attached policies for use of the museum by others, and then fill out and email to Laura Rieff the Event Request Form.
