Ivan Mestrovic at Notre Dame: Selected Campus
Sculptures
This is a 71-page, soft cover, guidebook with color
photographs and descriptions of the 21 pieces of Mestrovic
sculpture located throughout the campus. It includes
an essay describing Mestrovic in the context of his
contemporaries by Robert B. McCormick, Ph.D., and one
on Mestrovic’s years at Notre Dame by Rev. James
F. Flanigan, C.S.C. Diana Matthias, the Snite’s
curator of education, academic programs, prepared the
entries. Curator of Photography Stephen Moriarty photographed
the sculptures and assistant professor of art and graphic
design Robert Sedlack brought all of these elements
together with his handsome book design.

Caras Vemos, Corazones No Sabemos Faces Seen, Hearts Unknown: The Human Landscape of Mexican Migration
Amelia Malagamba-Ansótegui, is the primary author, with essays by Gilberto Cárdenas, Miki Garcia, Ramón Rivera-Servera, José Manuel Valenzuela Arce and Tomás Ybarra-Frausto. It was published in August of 2006
to accompany the art exhibition of the same title, which will travel to other venues, begining January 2008.
